Veda is an upcoming platform for Online Classes and seminars. This logo is created for attracting customers and to leave a print on their memory. Designed with a concept of a Transcriptional Symbol, the logo took shape with a merge of a ‘check-box tick’, which also resembles the letter V, into a triangle shape with a set of traditionally arranged lines.

Scope of Work: The technical platforms that would be needed here were — a user login app — Frontpage information website — admin panel for the main database of information.

Now, let’s take a moment and go through the basic pointers to keep in mind while designing the above logo :

  1. Geometry
Though we have a gallery full of sketchy ideas, it still should taper down to a simpler form bound by a definite sense of geometry. The logo here had to be kept in a very simple geometry to be seen as one in such a small logo size.
  2. Symbol
The symbol evolved to be like an ancient transcript like symbol, which was perfect to suit the name of the brand.
  3. Boundary
As we researched different logo styles, we became aware that it is important to be sure if the shape should be independent of a boundary or otherwise. Here, our shape had no fill, i.e it is a simple style of font, and a transparent background could make the user lose the image.

Thoughts and Process :

The simplest way to start off with this logo was to imagine the letter V, which is also a very appealing geometry. However, we always aim to make it unique, which is why we wanted to break the symmetry here. This gave light to another symbol of a check-box ‘Tick’

Creating a gridline, shortening one of the hands, and adding a small circle on top, gives it the exact symbolic look we had in our minds!
